7-Years Old Middle Aged Pup Living in Kill Shelter, Cries Herself to Sleep

At 7 years old, Monde thought her life would never amount to just another number occupying space at the notorious Carson Animal Shelter in Gardena, California. Her owner didn’t want her anymore and so in a stunning betrayal, she dumped her at Carson knowing full well the ramifications of such a decision.

Carson is a place where dreams fade faster than the end credits of an Alfred Hitchcock movie. Dogs and cats trapped in the facility are given just a few weeks, and sometimes even days to live before the unthinkable happens: euthanasia.

A Petharbor listing for Monde reads,

“My name is MONDE and I’m an approximately 7-year-old female Pit Bull. I am already spayed. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 3/3. Please help me.”

For Monde, there are no more tears to cry. Before bedtime, she can often be heard crying her soul to sleep, wondering what on earth she did to deserve such a fate. Speak Up, if you or someone you know is interested in giving this precious pup the forever family she rightfully deserves, please contact the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Carson at (310) 523-9566 and reference the shelter ID #A5021840.

Additionally, please share this story on Facebook or Twitter so we are closer to finding Monde a forever family. We have done it before, and can certainly do it again.
